All you need to know about CLAT exam

CLAT exam  stands for Common Law Admission Test is a graduate-level law examination which is conducted by National Law Universities across the country on an annual basis. This exam is conducted to recruit the students to NLU’s undergraduate and postgraduate law programs such as BA LLB, B.Com LLB, and B.Sc LLB. Some of the features and stats of CLAT exam are as follows: CLAT is an annual online examination. There are 40,000 CLAT test takes for the UG programs and 5,400 CLAT test takers for the PG programs. In 2016, more than 45,000 students have applied for  the CLAT exam  in which only 37,000 appeared in the exam. CLAT also offers a total number of 2400 for its undergraduate program. The total number of seats for PG programs is 624. 19 National Law Universities are the participating institutes.
